Emily Fink has been in nursing education for 22 years. She is the Director of Nursing Education Programs at Rowan-Cabarrus Community College in North Carolina. Dr. Fink has worked with the ACEN – Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing – as a site visitor and team chair since 2019.
Dr. Fink believes that quality nursing education is necessary to graduate students who can provide safe and effective patient care and who can emulate clinical judgment skills in the clinical setting.
Emily Fink enjoys spending time with her husband antiquing. She also has a 19-year-old son, Benjamin, who is a freshman at UNCC majoring in history.
The Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) supports the interests of nursing education, nursing practice, and the public by providing specialized accreditation for all levels of nursing education programs.
