The year 2020 has affected the lives of people all around the globe. The COVID-19 pandemic has brought with it lots of irreversible changes to our society. The year was filled with new challenges of coping and adapting to the new realities of the impacts of the global pandemic. For that reason, the ACEN would like to express our most heartfelt thanks to each and every peer evaluator for their role in assisting in the accreditation process.
The Spring 2020 and Fall 2020 cycles were like no other cycles before! We all had to learn a new normal, developed our own work-from-home routines, and became experts in Zoom and GoToMeeting. During these last two cycles, it was crucial that we maintained professional excellence and continued to provide the best service to our programs, and these ACEN peer evaluators did not disappoint in accomplishing that goal. Switching from in-person to virtual site visits required tons of behind-the-scenes planning, so we are incredibly grateful for your flexibility and are impressed by the continuous quality of work.
Although we were not able to meet in person this year, the transition to a virtual working environment happened rather seamlessly despite a few hiccups. Although we are not on the other side of the pandemic yet, there is hope on the horizon!
We look forward to possibly seeing some of your faces, socially distanced of course, in 2021!
