ACEN Joins COVID-19 Vaccine Education and Equity Project

ACEN has joined the COVID-19 Vaccine Education and Equity Project in efforts to provide education on and raise awareness around the importance of COVID-19 vaccination, and to lead a conversation that helps in addressing health inequities that exist generally and specifically in respect to COVID-19.

The ACEN joins more than 75 other organizations in supporting the overall mission of the project in a way that promotes equity and trust. The overall mission of the project begins with the belief that we as a community have the responsibility to provide easily accessible information regarding the clinical trials process, review, and distribution and access to the COVID-19 vaccine.

Dr. Marcy Stoll states “There is hope on the horizon based on the recent announcements regarding vaccines. As an individual, the best way you can help yourself and your community is to be vaccinated when you become eligible. We need to work together to stop this pandemic. Let’s combine our strengths in a unified effort to get the job done!” As stated by the COVID-19 Vaccine Education and Equity Project, the right environment has to be created so that everyone has the confidence to be vaccinated in the hopes of our lives and economy getting back on track.
