Mary Woltemate Stec, MSN, RN, CNE
Ms. Mary Stec has been a nurse educator at the Dixon School of Nursing at Abington Memorial Hospital for 22 years. She currently is an Instructor as well as the Course Coordinator, a position she has held since 2005. She achieved certification as a Certified Nurse Educator in 2007.
Ms. Stec has been an ACEN site visitor since 1999. She also served on the committee for development of the 2008 Standards and Criteria. She is a Board member of the National Coalition of Hospital Associate Schools and Colleges of Nursing and has been an item writer for NCLEX. She received the Excellence in Writing Award from the Pennsylvania Nurses Association in conjunction with the American Journal of Nursing. She is also a doctoral student at Widener University.
