Andy Fulp currently serves as the Dean of Educational Technology for the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD). In this role he oversees key areas of the university to ensure student and faculty success through the effective use of enhanced educational technology. These areas include SCAD’s educational technology, faculty development and effectiveness, and student learning environments within academic services. For nearly twenty years he has been committed to student, faculty, and institutional success throughout his many positions within higher education. These diverse positions include faculty, department chair, school dean, academic service dean, vice president for academic service (CAO) and vice president for educational technology (IT and Distance Education). During the past nine years, Andy has served on twelve on-site accreditation committees for the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC). Committee service includes reviews for substantive change, special review, initial candidacy, and reaffirmation. Also, on nine of the twelve committees, he served as the on-site chair, which included responsibilities for pre- and on-site logistics, committee member success and evaluation, draft and final committee reports, and chair’s responses.
