Dr. Jane June

Jane E. June, DNP, RN

Dr. Jane E. June has been affiliated with Quinsigamond Community College (QCC) since 1987 and has served as the Dean of the Healthcare since June 2004. Dr. June has also served as Program Coordinator of the Associate Degree in Nursing Program and nursing faculty.   As Dean, Dr. June oversees both the Practical an Associate Degree programs serving over 250 students.  Additionally, Dean June oversees sixteen allied health programs and supervises approximately 50 full time faculty and staff members.  Dr. June continues to work in clinical practice as an Administrative Coordinator at St. Vincent Hospital and her clinical expertise includes education, emergency, and intensive care nursing.

Dr. June received her diploma in nursing from St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester, MA, master’s degree in nursing in both Patient Education and Management from Anna Maria College and a Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP) from Chatham University.

Dr. June currently serves as an ACEN site visitor (since 2001) and was appointed to the ACEN Evaluation Review Panel in 2002.  She participated in the committee that developed the 2008 Standards and Criteria for Practical Nursing.  She has been recognized for excellence in both clinical practice and teaching.  Dr. June has also served as a consultant to community colleges in Massachusetts to assist them with the accreditation process. She is a member of several local advisory boards and has served as a reviewer for nursing and paramedic texts. Her most recent article has been submitted and is in under review by the Journal of Emergency Nursing.
