Holly J. Price, MSN, RN, CNE, ANEF
Holly Price has been affiliated with Firelands Regional Medical Center School of Nursing (FRMCSN) since 1984. The Director since July 1995, she has also served as Assistant Director and faculty member. As Director, she is responsible for the administration of the nursing program and supervises 18 faculty and staff. Prior to joining FRMCSN she was a staff nurse and Assistant Head Nurse at Sandusky Memorial Hospital.
She received her diploma in nursing from Massillon Community Hospital School of Nursing, baccalaureate degree in nursing from Kent State University and her master’s degree in nursing and geriatric nurse specialist designation from Medical College of Ohio.
Ms. Price served two terms on the NLN Board of Governors and served as Chair of the NLN Nurse Educator Workforce Development Advisory Council (NEWDAC). She presented work accomplished by NEWDAC, with other members of the Council, at the NLN Education Summit. Ms. Price is an active member of the Ohio League for Nursing serving on the OLN Education Summit Planning Committee. In addition she is President of the National Coalition of Hospital Associated Schools and Colleges of Nursing. In 2009, she attained the credential of Certified Nurse Educator. Also in 2009, she was inducted as a fellow in the Academy of Nursing Education, recognized for Leadership.
